Hi,

Only just noticed the thread update

I am suspect that the cover, if peeled off will also remove some of the writing :-( I got caught out with an eBay sale that looked identical :-( The film actually turned out to be the badge that had started to lift due to water damage / age.

If you are brave enough to have a go, and it is indeed just a protective film (pending some very close up pictures), I will take them

Looks fine to me.

I peeled one off and the shifter cap looks perfect. I half peeled the other one back and it looks the same. I'd say these babies look pretty great.

You realize that they have normal tiny bits of wear and tear on the body from actuall use, right?

In the end, the condtion would be a solid 8.5/10 for mechanics and aesthetics in my opinion.

Anyone interested now that this is confirmed?

OK folks, that about does it. This is a closeup of the right shifter after peeling off the protective film. The left is in similar condition.


These are not NOS, but an excellently preserved example of used XT thumbshifters. No more, no less . . .

If you want these, let me know.
