garage find 1989 Ritchey Ultra

well this was a pleasant surprise, a 1989 Ritchey ultra with all the M732 XT bits, correct fork, XT seatpost...and an 18.5" C to c frame size. Ritchey lite bar, XT thumbies and some nice Toad Stool grips.. apparently the seat stay/seat post was a fillet brazed, the frames on the Ultra were tack welded by the man himself, then the tig welding was finished by the rest of the crew

Hi. Reviving this one for a moment, hoping you can clarify something:
Not the only in existence, but I have the only Ultra I've ever seen in person (my riding friends aren't retro guys). Wondering if these were sold with just a single "Ultra" decal on the drive side, with only a "Ritchey" downtube decal on the non-drive side? I figured the left side on mine was removed, but there's no trace of adhesive. Does this one have an "Ultra" on the non-drive side?

I wouldn't think so. I have an 89 and it has the Ritchey and the Ultra decals on drive and non-drive sides
