I feel for you. Happens a lot. :roll:
Think best policy on Evil Bay if you find something you want really badly is to message the seller as soon as you spot it and either do the deal yourself (not nice but....) OR beg them to let the auction run so you get a fair crack at the item.
Just in case you were wondering, no it wasn't me. Far too big and have other retro interest. Just know how it feels to lose out unfairly when you are prepared to play the game with a straight bat.

Here's the story behind this one. I asked the seller why the auction ended early:

"Lissting error, was to be listing with a BIN price. Auction was ended, then relisted with a BIN PRICE...........Soon after it was sold."
