fun with a video cam/bike content

My friend and I took some footage last week on one of the trails we ride, and I've been editing it together. It's just a little teaser still, but the idea is to keep adding on with different riders and footage from different trails. My friend Rasmus is on the bike and I did the filming for the stuff we have so far. Hopefully I'll get to do some riding too at some point

PS the bike is modern as I was holding the camera, but a somewhat older SS if not a retro Explosif will probably be cut in at some point as the movie grows. Sorry for the blasphemy.

Oh, thanks guys Pure luck I think. I can't even take a still photograph without putting myself to sleep by the end result. The creative juices really get flowing when you're on your belly in the dirt to get a nice angle. Can't wait til it gets up to 8-9 minutes of fun footage

Some forums have dedicated vid sections,i think its time to ask for one here.
it would make a good addition,plenty of old school MBT action out there

That sounds like a great idea! John is a reasonable man, so a good chance of getting a vid section I would think...if the interest from forum users is there.

Rasmus had a beautiful crash that day...and I wasn't filming! :evil: We were out for more than 5 hours to get those couple of minutes, and are going out again this week, so the video will grow in length with time. I will just keep cutting new stuff in (plus some SS and my retro ride) and re-upload to youtube each time.

I've just bought one of these from ebay. See if i can get some better footage than the old helmetcam. Seems cheap enough.

It shoots at 640 x 480 at 30frames per second so should be ok. Retails at £200 in uk or £88 on ebay
