never seen tig welded 531? I presume it just needs the proper 501 stickers. still available from reynolds cos i've had a few sets now...small detail but also cant see what shifters it has...

Seller also had an 85 Conquest for sale recently. Before putting in a bid I contacted the seller to arrange a veiwing. But he had already pulled the auction early and sold to somebody outside of eBay.
I contacted him to say that I was disappointed that the auction hadn't run and to ask why, and got a load of abuse back from him about people always trying to get bikes for nothing on eBay. Bearing in mind I had only asked to see the bike and hadn't mentioned any offer I did see it as a bit of an over reaction.
I'd go as far as saying that he was hostile, but he may have been having a bad day.

Anyway, the lack of tyres puts me off a bit, even though this is in my town.

I'm happy to collect and post on if anyone on here wins it though.

Looks very original did Saracen ever make a 24er ? maybe its the pics or do the wheels look like 24's :?

No clear pics of the rear mech, but its doesn't look like a mountech. Is the Shimano crank correct?

Were these tig-welded 531 then? Or should that be 501?
