1999 Volvo S40 1.8 petrol

28 mpg around town 35 on a run.

1997 Saab 9000 Turbo (the high pressure one), 110k miles so the engine isn't too baggy.
General (usually shortish trips) 32mpg
Motorway run; 38 mpg
Really, really trying hard to be economical on the motorway, fully loaded: 41mpg

TDIFurby - Devonutopia from Briskoda right? :)

Yeah, I get around a bit  :D

I use the litres put in full to empty method, and generally my computer mpg is fairly consistent. :)

1998 BMW 528i Touring - 28mpg average, 25mpg if urban dominated driving, 32mpg if more flowing roads.

1973 Citroen DS20 - 32mpg everywhere.

My 2001 Volvo V40 T4, my commute is all motorway - stick at 70mph on the cruise control. Its mangaing 39mpg, not bad for a 200bhp volvo!

Boxster S - driven spiritedly for fun on the weekends, we're in the embarrasing end of the teens. Combined cycle for commuting to work - about 25

Vauxhall Zafira GSI Turbo (199.8 bhp)

You had better start keeping the keys handy at night. The power sounder battery goes flat and the alarm will start going off at the most inconvenient times. It happens to Zafiras, fact. Also the EGR valve sticks.

Mine never will. Ripped that P.O.S system out my engine as soon as I could - Have been running EGR'less for over 4 years now :D Nice to know my engine is only consuming air, and not burnt exhaust gases too. Probably helping my economy too (a really tiny bit....)

1993 Isuzu Trooper Duty LWB 3.1TD

25mpg around town

35mpg on long runs - on a good day

15mpg on the fields, less if it's proper muddy

oh yeah thats about as economical as my Mitsubishi Delica 2.8TD

My 1979 Jeep Wagoneer 5.9 V8 would get 25mpg whereas my 1990 Discovery twin carb V8 would get about 11mpg at best.

It didnt help that my foot was nailed to the floor mostly.
