Having moderate views on the subject, my point is this:-
I always wear a helmet but respect the rights of anyone who decides not to.
I doubt that there's a single cyclist in the country who hasn't thought about wearing one at some time or another.
They've made their decision and will obviously have to live with the consequences in the event of an accident. About one-third of the riders in my groups don't wear them and nothing is ever said.
