hey all

have a set off judy carbons comming and have a set off englund total air cartridges in a set off judy sl's

are they compatitble?

cheers

:D

Yes, they are fully compatible. I have some in my FSX and they work just fine. You just have to check if the FSX doesn´t come with long travel (80mm), otherwise the Englund Air bottoms will be loose and won´t work properly.

Unless, of course, you are running 80mm or early one-piece Englunds in your SL. If necessary it's pretty easy to make whatever mods may be needed to fit.

Exactly. In that case, no mods needed. Thank´s , Mr.Z ...

where d'you get the carts from, I'm searching for a set myself!

just had them fella, fitted in a set off judy sl's, no idea how to transfer them thou

need to reply to your email, if i dont use them wanna do a deal or summit?

:P

The only other issue you might come across is if the Judy SL's are from 97 or later. They must have changed the diameter of the threaded bit on the crown where they screw in slightly.

I bought cartridges for my 97 Judy C's from Ekosport a few years ago and had an issue with fit and had to get a different set of top caps sent from ekosport.

as the churchill dog would say: 'Oh yes!'

Threading should be the same for the SL and the FSX. The difference in threading was a matter of where the forks fell in the range rather than the year. I believe the threading of the Judy Cs were not as fine.
