So reckon £600 is a fair for this timecapsule example....alternatively i am looking for something a little less mainstream...in a 17/18in..with a decent reach in either steel or Ti.. must be in VGC, but not necessarily original...i want to be able to use it!

Think you got this pretty cheap, right? Will offer what you paid + £75. TBH when you start talking about 'decent returns' in your classified I think ebay is probably your friend.

it's not like he'd be the first person to spin a profit on the classifieds.

one similar sold last year for less than £200 .

yes . it was in the south somewhere a few months ago .

got relisted a few times , and ended up in france .

i think what i'm saying is that there is a fair bit of behaviour that could be deemed distasteful, from blatant gouging, to the hoovering up of karma items to be used as "spares" when someone could use them for a build in progress

All i can say is at least he was upfront about marking it up. Some don't even do that.

Anyhow I don't care to have a discussion (for the 100th time) on the rights and wrongs of making money in the classifieds. Since I believe the OP has sold his bike I will lock this thread. If Keith wants to unlock it to sell again then please PM me - can clear off the chaff as well..
