whats the low down on them pete, are they any good prone to cracking etc?

I have a set of these at home about the same age they are solidly built and don't look to have any cracks, I also dont have any spacers on mine the shape of the spider provides the spacing

They all snap - I believe this is the last pair in existence making them both priceless and useless... 
Not really familiar with them, just know they look really cool & the later (I think) turbines seem spot on - if the tapers & threads are all sound I don't see any reason not to :twisted:
Might be swapping some spacers around here too, so could send you some over if it helps? Just got to check I can get what I want first...
