FSA Bottom Bracket - are they all different - help please!

Very good point - very well made Synchronicity.
And we shrug our shoulders, say nothing, smile and hand our money over uncomplainingly🤷‍♂️
C'est La Vie:)
look to car makers for a example.
Canbus and OBDII connections.

Industry says, we need a standard across the entire world for sensor communication as modern cars are going to need more sensors with faster interaction but can't do it with lots of separate wires anymore, there is to many of them. canbus systems are invented. within a year every manufacturer has a different way of implementing, covers different bits of the car (seriously, headlights, why?) and there is about 40 different "Standards"

OBDII, cars are more complicated, systems are now IC driven rather than big clunking relays (canbus) we need a way that any mechanic can diagnose a fault. ok industry, from now on all you cars are going to have an OBDII port, which is a specific size to let a computer be plugged in.

yer we have the same port, but the data that streams to it is now in one of about 20 protocols, but we will let you see something things in general term fault codes. oh you want to know what the fault codes mean...........

sorry folks, standards are bullshit, the only way to fix it is to have another standard.....

Bit late to the party here but wondered if these photos might be of some use. Taken from the 2008 Windwave catalogue (FSA distributor), and shows the SLK Carbon Triple MegaExo chainset and the corresponding bottom bracket as the BB-8000. I'm guessing this is the triple chainset you have?

Thanks rikster - much appreciated.
Yes, those are the exact cranks and that is the recommended BB.
It seems there are other options though - so some trial and error might be in order.
The 8000's (new) are about ÂŁ45 now - given price hikes recently, i suppose that's not too bad.....
Except it is if you find the colour repulsive.
Anyway.....
