Retro Newbie
I need to free up some cash from my bike so I will have the following for sale/swap in the next week or so.
I am in Northampton so a local meet or swap would be best for me, or I can travel to meet you 50 miles or so, but I don’t fancy posting these bits if it can be avoided.
The kit
2008 fox f100 rlc quick release, in white, immaculate 4 rides old (so about 40 miles of gentle xc)
worth about £300
Black and gold hope mono mini 160 rotors, front brake is post mount and as new (4 rides) with black standard hose uncut so long, back is about a year old with braided hose cut for a small frame.
worth about £120.
Crossride disc only wheels, black about a year old and very good condition, ie no marks. Complete with a2z ti skewers in silver.
worth about £90.
The plan
Is to down grade the fork drastically to something worth about £200 less, but what I can do depends on what people have out there.
1) I could swap JUST the fork for either some carbon rigids, or cheaper sus forks (100mm post mount only though) + Cash
2) Swap the forks, brakes and wheels, for a nice v brake set up (forks, wheels and brakes) + Cash
3) Sell individually...... would rather swap, but can do if nothing swappy comes up
