Re: FS: small Yeti ASR 2006 Team Turquoise disc frame

Am I right in thinking that, even though it's a Yeti, it's a fairly light xc-style frame with 100mm travel both ends? [the 2007 one was supposed to weigh 5.1lbs, is it similar to that?]

I can't work out how it can be 'small' though? Surely a 5-3 to 5-7 rider couldn't fit a 22.4 top tube unless they used a very short stem - but with a very short stem and a head angle of 71, wouldn't the steering be too twitchy? I'd be interested to know how you had it built up and how did you find it?

If it is that light and if it fits me, I would certainly be interested in buying it.

Re: FS: small Yeti ASR 2006 Team Turquoise disc frame

It turns out, after a bit of research, that it's a 2004 frame not 2006, as it lacks the carbon chainstay they brought out in 2005 and the decals are different to 2006, but it also lacks V-brake bosses and they had those up to 2003. So I guess it's a bit heavier than I thought, but I don't know by how much?

Still interested though, if it's still available.

I've weighed it, 5.1lb, maybe a sliver over. I'm using ex-shop greengrocer scales.
