OK I'm into current mountain biking but know very little about the retro stuff so excuse me if the price is way off but feel free to make offers.

I have a Raleigh M-trax Ti-1000 titanium, frame geometry is 17.5" from the centre of the bottom bracket to the very top of the seat tube and 22" from the centre of the top of the seat tube to the centre of the top of the head tube, hope that makes sense !

It appears to be all original and is in excellent condition, a few scrathes on the frame but it appears to have had very little use looking at the components.Chain rings have very little wear, brake blocks are orignal Shimanos with very little wear, braking surface on rims is almost unworn.

Frame + Forks: M-max original

Crank Shimano STX, FC-MC33, 175mm, original Shimano chain rings

Hubs: Shimano STX, FH-MC32 Parralax

Spokes: DT Swiss

Rims: Mavic 231

Tyre Rear: Ritchey Megabite with Little wear

Tyre Front: Ritchey Alfabite little wear but starting to perish

Original Shimano Skewers

Front Mech: Shimano STX RC

Brakes / Gear Levers: Shimano STX RC

Rear Mech: Shimano STX Special Edition

Handlebar / Seat Post: Kalloy Uno U.L. System

Bar Ends: Trans X

Headset: Tange

Cassette: Shimano Interactive Glide 1

Stem: Profile.

Asking £200 o.n.o

M-Trax

Hi,
I will measure later today, also have a few more pics if you send an email address.
Cheers,
Andrew

Sizing

Hi,
From the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube is a tad over 17.5"
From the ecntre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube is 22"
So maybe this is actualy a small.
Regards,
Andrew

Thought it looked big, sorry but its not a small, its an 18 inch. I had one in small and it was 14 inches centre to centre, that's a large.

Sizing

I'm not sure exactly what size it is but for sure it is not a large, I'm 5ft 5 and in new bikes alwys buy a small, the m-max seems small without a doubt to me.
The stand over height is low and even with the long stem it is not much of a reach.

Sizing

If it helps any on the current stumpjumer bike the 15.5" bike has almost exactly the same top tube length, though I do not know how this translates with older bikes.

Size

The union with the seat and top tubes height above the rear tyre gives it away, if it was small it would be below the tyre height. Its a large, 22 is also long for a top tube back then, most were 20 to 21 and ran a longer stem.
Raleigh sized their bikes 16" 17" and 18", measured from centre bb to top, they sometimes did 19 and 20 too depending on model, I don' know whether this would be termed as a large, but there would have been two sizes smaller certainly.
Standover will be low, as those forks are very short.

OK I take your word for it as you seem to know your stuff.

However if anyone is interested in this bike and usualy runs a large size frame in modern bikes I think you may struggle on this so viewing would be a good idea.

Any offers ?
