Built by Argos (1997, I think) renovated by Steve Goff, but unused since the reno. With my back condition, I think I'm going to find it impossible to get as low as this frame would allow.
Reynolds 725 tubing put together with a mixture of lugs and very smooth silver-soldered joints. 753 aero flat-bladed forks. Stainless steel fork ends. This is the same type of frame used by Stuart Dangerfield, so you'll get the picture. It's a 'micro-frame' - 51cm seat tube, 53cm top tube. 9.5cm head tube. 95-96cm wheelbase. Steerer changed for a special lightweight threadless one. Takes standard 700c clinchers/tubulars front and rear.
Beautiful metallic blue viola with white panels. Will supply with unused Chris King headset (pewter-coloured).
I cannot part with this lot for less that £350 (I know that sounds a lot, but it's worth an awful lot more than that), and I'll happily engage in a cheque-spread to spread the load.
