Dirt Disciple
Hi All,
well, sadly, it's got to go as it's not being used at present.
Sold as a frame, seatpost, 1" STX threaded headset, bottom bracket; chainset and front/rear mech.
This has been my 'lanes bike', run with a rigid fork for bashing around the lanes.
The frame is in generally good condition. It has a couple of paint scrathes but no chainsuck thanks to Mr. Bontrager's wonderful anti chainsuck plate ( why don't others do it?)
I recently put in new headset races, then only used it for ~ 4 days.
I've popped it into my lbs to check out the bottom bracket. They unscrewed it, checked all ok and re-greased the shell and re-fitted it. It is not stuck in the frame and it runs sweetly, so no one should have problems with it. It is a square taper cartridge.
The frame has a couple of small scratches, one on the seat stay where it's gone through the paint, and has been taped over to prevent rusting. I've put Lizard Skins protective patches to prevent cable rub where appropriate.
There are no dings or dents to my knowledge/that I have seen, its' in very good condition considering it has been used, not resprayed, just a few 'honest' marks gained through use.
This is a *medium* size.
Bonty's are small for their size. I'm 5'8", inside leg 30" and it's fine for me using the kit with it such as the longer stem.
I've just got a new bike, modern longer top tube etc. and have bought a 16" frame which seems almost identical in actual frame size, so please be careful on sizing.
It requires a fork with a crown-to-axle length of 400mm with a 1" steerer tube.
The kit.
This was originally supplied with the frame.
Seatpost - Bontrager
Stem - Bonty, I think it's 10deg. rise, 120mm long.
Chainset - LX, ( FCM563 ), 175mm cranks, rings 42,32,22, my lbs says the tapers are fine.
Front mech - LX, 28.6mm top pull conventional. Good nick, changes smoothly
Rear mech - LX, some scratches on the lower side, but changes fine.
I have pictures if you want to take a look, please email me

....and I'll be happy to oblige!
I'm looking for £180 posted.
thanks for looking
