Very regrettable sale, I havent been using them despite them being super ridiculously lush forks and i really need something with a bit more travel.

105mm of travel
steerer = 195mm
star nut fitted and straight
ETA travel adjustment working as it should (reduces it down to around 80mm and is good for inclines and flat sections)
Rebound damper working as it should
comes with v brake adapters and also disc hose guide (pictured)
Gold adjuster knobs too!
Very very good condition all round

the only hair in the ointment is that the rubber o-ring under the ETA travel adjuster knob looks perished and could do with replacing, which is a piece of cake really - its still functioning but would probably break if you removed it.

These were wiped down after each use. I've kept them well while in storage (cleaning and giving them a good squelch every now and then to keep the oil flowing.

Seals are fine, stanchions positively smooth as a baby's backside.

Had a very nice life indeed, mostly used commuting, but has been out on a couple of cross country rides (very far between).

Only had one previous owner (from RB forum) who looked after them well.
The crown would come up super nice if polished, i'll leave that satisfaction for whoever buys them ;)

Would be interested, looks about what I'm after. Can't afford asking price though. Let me know if you decide to drop. Thanks.

Hello Twain,

I will. However, I'm just awaiting the outcome of a bid on these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141237271009? ... EBIDX%3AIT

. . . which might be just what I need, and perhaps get them within budget. What do you think of them compared with yours?

If that fails, I'll pitch a price for yours. Maybe you'll get a better offer, but you can decide.

not sure on a comparison - they look heavier and with less adjustability. chunkier, so probably best suited to more trails type riding than XC which is what these Marathons are ruddy good for :)
doesnt give much info on life/service, so you dont know how well they've been looked after.
cosmetically i reckon mine are in better condition ;)
but thats just my opinion :) :P

Well, I've got a max bid in for £60 so might be a good deal if it goes. If not, I'll get in touch for yours. Your forks look a better job and would prefer them but think I could only stretch to £75.
