always loved that colour pine mountain! The respray I had done on my team marin that year was meant to be similar...they failed miserably

Agreed - I had a '95 PM - dunno what I was thinking when I traded it all those years ago. Pity this one is a 19inch, could do with a 17.5.

Still, must look on the bright side - have an NOS 96 Team Marin frame and forks waiting patiently for a build

Some idiot must have sat in his office with a CAD machine and decided to redesign the mountain bike and ended up with the gussetted forth bridge taiwanese blueprint for all crap xc hardtails for the future of mountainbiking.

Bring back the old Marin County designs!
