Hi guys. New to this forum but am a regular on BikeRadar. It was a guy from there who suggested I post my bike for sale on here as you guys appreciate more this type of thing than most would from eBay
For sale is my RTS 3 from 1996, I think, I bought it from my LBS in Rochdale in 1997 and was told it was an old model!
It is totally original, complete with the rear brake thing that appears to missing on lots of these and the Velociraptors have lots of life in them.
It was serviced last year where it had a new rear cassette and chain fitted and has only been ridden a couple of times since.
I have also stripped and re-greased the forks, so they are clean and free moving.
Im not entirely sure on the size but have measured it from centre of BB to centre of toptube and it is 18". If the measurement points are different from the ones I have used, please let me know and I will re-measure.
Hopefully you can see from the pics that this is a lovely specimen. There are the usual bits of wear you would expect from a 13 year old bike and the rubber stanchion protectors on the forks need replacing. This bike has been lovingly used and never abused.
I have no idea what this is worth but the guy from BikeRadar suggested a starting point of £200.
Hopefully this can go to someone who will appreciate it and love it like I have.
Cheers
Paul
