FS: Demonchaux Titanium Fork, 1 1/8" x 16cm, 516g !!!

Ok, so the background is that demonchaux is French but lives works in japan, he used to weld these himself but production is now in china because of skilled workers and price. Fair enough. The end products are shipped from the East and are cheaper than much else I can find but being sent from japan means you'd then need to add import duty and VAT and this actually makes them about 100GBP more than a very equivilant fork made in Germany. The fact Germany is closer is actually where I feel sways my decision, warranty thoughts and dealings within EU is my preference unless the product was significantly better from elsewhere. Personally I don't see it's 100 quid better.

He seems since chap and genuine, and clearly a biker, so please don't be put off by my comments, just financially it seems to make more sense.
