FS: Chris King Turquoise 1 1/8" headset

Nowt wrong with Turquoise.

If it helps with pricing (or not, depending on your point of view), I recently paid 70 Euros, which included shipping for a mint, early no logo Chris King headset in 1 inch sizing, which included the base plate, crush washers and top cap.

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
Then you did well to find such a buyer

May I humbly suggest in future that should you wish to use the site as your own private sale house then a bit less of the "you don't know what your talking about" to future customers in here may not be your best sales technique?

But again... Well done for finding your buyer

You're probably right, but reading the thread back again all I got right from the word go was thats a rip off and what a duff colour. Glad I found a good home for it at the right price.

"Glad I found a good home for it at the right price."

And I think this is the point of RB.It's not about you, or what I can get for the right price.

There will always be someone with more money than sence. And good luck to both buyer and seller. May they both be happy.

But for me selling and buying stuff on RB is a bit more than about money. For me it s about selling at a fair price, talking the advice of peers on this site and most importantly, making sure someone on this site makes good use of my item.I don't expect them to keep it for life, but equally i don't expect them to turn a significant or quick t profit at my expence. I suppose I hope that when I need/want something that it is offered to me on the same basis.

I'm not naive enough to not know that some on here do use it as a business. And that may be a major part of their income.
My income is made elsewhere, so I can afford my stance.

There are plenty of mugs on ebay. And good luck if someone bought it at a great price. But you did not get what you wanted here. Reflect and consider how you may be of use to the RB community rather than just using as a place to try and sell bits. This issue has been discussed many times.

Here endeth the lesson for this morning.................
