Happy New Year All.
I have a Cannondale M400 CAAD2.
Anyway, I was going to spend the winter doing it up but after spending the first half of the winter on another project which (a) took longer and (b) was more expensive than I planned, and i ended up giving it to the LBS to fix it properly. I have realised I am never going to be any kind of mechanic!
So rather than break this bike and leave it in piles on my garage floor I thought I would offer it up for sale to someone who knows what they are doing and would get more enjoyment out of the project than I would.
having said "project" there isn't really too much to do to it. It requires the headset fixing or maybe replacing, the cables replacing and probably new brake blocks (cantilever type brakes). And the forks need servicing...
Spec:
20inch frame in a Purple colour with very few scratches ( measured from seat post to centre of crank)
Cro Magnon stem
Marzocchi Bomber Z3 suspension forks which would need servicing
Maxxis tyres - still some good tread
Mavic D521 rims
24 Shimano Deore LX gears
Shimano STX RC brakes
Suntour flat pedals
and the most uncomfortable seat ever (saracen, ripped needs binning!)

This was my mates old bike and I had used it a few times when he owned it and it was mint - solid as you like, which is why I bought it off him. Unfortunately I no longer have the time or inclination to repair it myself and would cost me too much to let my LBS repair it for me. Too nice a bike to weigh in for scrap and most ebayers would just see it as an old bike but you guys will see it for what it is - a classic which is better than most of the bikes of today!
Looking for around £150 for the lot or if someone just wants the frame give me a holler
