Dirt Disciple
After a valedictory tour of the North Cotswolds at HONC last weekend, I'm finally parting with my 1999 (I think: so long ago that I can't remember) Specialized Stumpjumper.
This has been well used, with two trips to the Alps, a couple of 24-hour races, and plenty of other activity thrown at it. It's got little scratches everywhere, and is through the paint on the drive-side chainstay. Still rides beautifully and, I think, looks brilliant.
Currently stripped down to the frame plus BB, seat collar and post, and headset. For that I'd like to get £125 posted, or £100 if the buyer collects/we meet up.
If anyone wants the bike whole, I can build it back to the exact original spec except the headset, bottom bracket, and grips/bars, which have been replaced. It came with a mix of own-brand and XT stuff, plus orange Manitous. (If anyone wants any of that, drop me a line!) I'd be looking for £250 plus postage for the whole bike.
