FS: 1992 GT Avalanche Frame, Forks, Stem + some NOS XT bits

That's awesome, Mike, sorry I'm not in the market to buy-hope it finds a good home soon.
Sean's black Avalanche came to live with me, and ended up looking like this, as a practical classic for commuting and hack duties. The paintwork's just smooth Hammerite. In the summer, i had a BAD crash on it in Swinley Forest, probably riding too fast on a bike that doesn't work as well as my modern mtb. As a result, me and that bike were no longer friends, so it's now living back in Bristol with my brother in law. Gets regularly used for road training/recreational riding.

Yes

I won this yesterday, as its the same as the bike I bought from JE James in Chesterfield when I was 17, and the last fully built bike I was ever going to buy (so far).

as you can see I made a few mods by 1994

my friend still has my old wheels from the bike pictured and I have the front mech and cantis, just need to get hold of sti levers?
