Picked up this from a friend recently as it's too small for him, but I don't have the space either 
Frame is 18 inch centre to top so it's an actual 16 inches going on GT sizing. The bike is cosmetically very tatty and ideally in need of a respray - but it rides really quite nicely! Spec is mostly the original Deore DX parts fitted but since it fell into my hands I've also replaced the god awful solid axled front wheel it had with a LX/Mavic wheel which was lying around and fitted some XT cranks and rings to get rid of a cheap pressed steel chainset fitted (middle ring probably needs replacing though). The seatpost and clamp were too small/large respectively so I've also fitted some new replacements in the correct size and added new gear cables. The bike is also fitted with new(ish) CST road tyres which roll pretty fast on the road and I'll throw in the dual flat/SPD pedals that are fitted at the moment.
That's pretty much all to say - treat it as a winter hack or pub bike or rolling restoration, the choice is yours! Looking for £80 collected from Central London or I'll post for a tenner more
