Finally time to try and sell my dads old courier. He bought it new in Truro Cycles, I guess in 1987 -as its a 1987 model. Its led a fairly mallow life and probably never been any more 'off-road' than the local footpaths and bridleways.
Mostly original except for tyres, seat, tumbies and rear mech and possibly cassette. All bits in good conditition for year.
Paintwork a bit tatty but i'm sure this is mostly dirt, grime, bits of dried up bodge tape etc and that once cleaned up will look alot better.
I have not attempted to clean it up to sell as I would want to strip it all down and do it properrly - and if I put that much effort in I'd probably end up wanting to keep it.
I have attached a few bad photos but if anyones interested I will take better ones .
Oh yea, I think its a 23" frame. It fits me and i,m 6'1" - but it also fit my dad and hes only about 5'8" -
I'd like to get £150 for this collected (depths of Cornwall) or £170 posted.
If that sounds alot make me an offer - wont be letting go lightly though - its too rootsy. feel free to ask any questions
