Hello,
Have got a classic Triumph Roadster for sale. Think it's 1960's, may be 50's or even early 70's. Totally original, rod brakes, Sturmey 3 speed, hub dynamos, Brooks saddle, everything in working order. It's bizarrely very fast too. Proper retro!
£60 collected from Keighley. Postage can be arranged but it weighs a ton and the wheels don't really like coming out due to the rod brakes and dynamo wires. Let me know if I'm way out.
Pictures here, Carradice bag not included:

Talk about building a mans hopes up!!

There was me thinking I was about to pick up a bargain Bergerac Special and its a bloody bike!!!

:)

Well, it weighs about the same and looks as classy. Gentleman's transport!
Will also swap for a TR4A, TR5 or maybe TR6...

"Nice, but it is newer than you think."

Genuine Q: on what do you base that conclusion? Most of it (except for half instead of full chaincase) looks identical to a mid-50s Raleigh badged version that I had until recently. It COULD be early 50s to late '60s I guess, but the hub date should be conclusive?

Sorry chaps, ended up farting around with roofing felt all weekend, I'll have a look at the Sturmey tonight and see if I can get some better shots.

How about a brown TR7?

What do you take me for, a fool?!?
Is there anywhere on the hub I should be looking for the date, I couldn't find it last night although admittedly didn't have my glasses on.
Viewings welcome - it's in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
