Front mech set-up problems

Sometimes on full suspension bikes the front derailleur will rub in the repair stand no matter what you do and seem like it is impossible to adjust correctly but when the suspension is loaded it will work correctly.

Hi , again something i didnt think of but it was just chalk and cheese between the m901 & m950 , just bolted it on tweeked the cable and that was that

becuase you were trying to make two incompatible parts work togther

different reach/ pull/ leverage etc

Yes i get it and of course matched parts will always work better but i have, and im sure most have mixed and matched parts from other groups without anything more than a bit more tinkering to get things running ok im only saying that this particular one just would not .
