Hi. I am currently debating whether to fit a top pull or bottom pull mech to my clockwork. I have both options. However the frame seems to have a hole for fitting a pulley to use a bottom pull mech with the top tube routed cable, but it has no pulley. Anyone know where I might find a suitable pulley to fit?

MechVerters, sold in many places are the pulleys people mention they have used (just the pulley, it unbolts).

But use a top-pull mech and stick a pen end/bolt in the hole. The wheels where stop gaps until the top-pull mechs where introduced to the masses.
and for the price of a mech + wheel you can get a better top pull mech ;)
and you don't have a place to collect mud and dirt.

there are probably ball bearing mechs and posher ones somewhere.

Thanks. I will have to try the top-pull mech with low pivot first and check if it seems ok. Thanks for the pulley ideas. I may yet go that way yet. It was good enough for Yeti's and Zinn's.
