In a round about way thats what the Gary Fisher has - but its a lot neater than it sounds! :lol:


however I think the mech Anthony has a pic of is an evolution of this
:? design and requires bolting the mech to the ST to stop it rotating.

Question answered - conventional mech it is! :lol: :lol:

Stick with a conventional front mech if your frame isn't designed for it. Otherwise you're limited to bb choices. You also can't get subtle adjustments like pointing the tail in/out slightly, height, different chainring sizes,etc
