From where can one obtain some bearings for a BB?

I need some bearings (sealed units) for a Bottom Bracket, anyone have any idea where I start looking? its all a bit confusing on t'interweb for a novice/engineering cretin.

Any help much appreciated.

what is the number on the old bearing? 4 digits and a letter or 2.ie 6006rs

On the black plastic seal of the old bearings there should be a part code,maybe the manufacturer name aswell,if not then youll need the O.D (outside dia) the I.D (internal dia) and the width of the bearing,most bearing manufacturers should have a bearing with the same specifications that youll be able to use.

cheers chaps, I have the dimensions, and ill go and look for the id code on the plastic bit.

right, it says:

Enduro and MR2231-2RS

the od is: 31mm
the id is: 22mm
the width is: 7mm

and I need two of them

found them, they are standard Race Face ones apparently (its not a RF BB though?) £8.95 a pop - sounds about right...
