From Chrysalis to butterfly

The cocoon arrived this morning.....it had been promised last week, and was late...and TBH first impressions were not great...

Its a shame really because I suspect a lot of time and effort went into packing it really badly..!!!

Though after a lot of work,and some careful cleaning, a beautiful butterfly started to emerge...

Thats it for now....I'll stick some butterfly pics on in Readers MTB's--- >97

That is the box....torn into small bits and stuck liberally to the frame etc using copious amounts of strong black tape.....

Not sure how much damage was by natural usage over 18yrs, and how much was caused in the last few days whilst in transit.....

Wow, that really is poorly wrapped :shock:

I had to do a double-take with the first few pics as I thought the Black gaffer tape was carbon-fibre!!! lol.
