French Saddle

Idéale seems to dominate post-war, but there are quite a few lesser-known brands around. "Brown" is one of the more common:

Franceix, Régence, Lamplugh, Ecco, Excelsior, Etoile, Pullmann, and you sometimes see saddles branded with the name of the cycle manufacturer - Peugeot, Motobecane, etc.

Of course plenty of French bikes came with Reynolds frames and Brooks saddles.
 
Thanks OEJ. I'm not looking to spend a fortune really I just want to clean it up and sell it on, I only brought it for the brake levers for another project but to get it looking that bit more decent I will replace the saddle. I have a couple of old Italian saddles that will fit in with the era quite well. Thanks anyway :D
