Freecycle rules

Just got about 500 cycling magazines mostly cycling weekly plus various others from 2004 to present all free of charge.
Freecycle you cannot go wrong.

Baby is due this week and we got a cupboard, changing unit, buggy, bouncy seats, more clothes than you can shake a stick at and loads of toys. Freecycle does, indeed, rule!

do you have to register ?

I am trying to get some wood for my wood burner but cant seem to get anywhere .

Things may have changed but you used to do it through yahoo groups. I used to use them a lot but got sick of the emails. I may have to start again. I used to get all my wood through there. I also got to XT hubs with mavic rims in almost new condition.

Maybe we should set something similar up on here. I know we have karma give aways, but i would only ever do it with bike stuff. Maybe other stuff would be of interest to people?

we only need to set up a yahoo group and then each of us that's interested register on it.

although we do have the non-bike classifieds for this sort of stuff which should do the job just as well.

I went of it after the millions of "Wanted laptop, must be blah blah" "wanted, the 60" plasma, my 42" is too small" "wanted, give me anything that's worth money so i can sell it" :evil:

The Freecycle folder just started filling with Wanted ads and ridiculuous wanted ads at that, so different to how it started.

Just defeated the whole point in my opinion.
