Ok, here goes

I would normally reply to this in PM mate, but want to dispel any rumours in the RB community. these things have a history of snowballing....

1) The funds have already been transferred, but SMILE bank take up to 3 working days to transfer funds to other banks.

2)As i should have pointed out, the block is going to my parent's address in Ednburgh. I actually live in OZ now, but am visiting around the end of the year.

3)Only one PM was sent referring to the payment@ 1200 GMT, which makes it 2000 West Oz time. I read this just before going out to a BBQ last night (another benefit of living in OZ )

It is 0845 here now and I have just had a chance to catch up with emails etc.

Hope this clears up any confusion and thanks again for your generous gift of the block. It is going on one of my retro roadies- at the end of the build queue, but will of course post pics when it is done.

If anyone wants to check my ebay feedback (jock1976), you will see i have over 1000 transactions with 100% feedback.

OK, no PMs so here's the reply. You want to wash dirty linen in public; that's fine by me.

I've sent you 2 PMs that you have read, but have not replied to.

They have left my outbox, and I've seen that you have been logged on, so I know you've had the details of my bank account. kestonian had the same details at approximately the same time, and his funds arrived within 20 mins.

The days of three day transfers are long gone. I made an unrelated transfer last night at 9.20PM, and it was in the payees bank account by 9AM today.

For the avoidance of any doubt I don't trust you! This is my first experience with this site, and I have been giving, repeat giving items away. I have more old stuff that is of no use to me , but will now go in the bin. I won't be back on here, so don't bother with PMs or more posts, because they won't be read. If the mods decide to ban me that's fine, but I'm leaving after this post.

The amount in question is not large, but I made promises to you, in good faith, which I kept. You have not kept your end of the bargain.

transfers from my smile account take 3 working days. it even says so on the fecking website as any smile customer will tell you. I expect an apology when the money turns up

Ask any of the othe retrobikers who i've dealt with in the past 2 weeks, or my over 1000 happy ebay transactors. Why the feck would i mess anyone around for less than 3 quid?

This is a shame that this transaction has caused so much upset- think you might be getting a bit too worked up "once a tester", I am sure that the dosh will come thru.
