Freaks? What us?

freaks

......todays world--------full of i must have this--- i must have that, did you watch eastenders last nite, no i watched bigbrover, whilst i played on my i-phone, and then i watched X-factor, shut up......yeah but no but yeah but no........!!!!!! the mindless masses i seem surrounded by, there hobby is.... i must go in town... and go shopping in primarney, for the latest must have deisgner (copy) handbag, then out of there and down the market, to buy the latest diamond encrusted I-Phone cover..(another fake). ..........!!!!!!

And they call us freaks, i read that article, and to be honest, it made me laugh...after all it is us, that have contributed "to this thing of ours" for so long, we were there at the begining of it all, we read the magazine reviews, that they printed, we were and are there customers, if we (collectively) never bought there magazines and created the market, then it wouldnt have evolved into the mutimillion pound marketplace it is today.....!!!!!

I feel the truth is, they know we are a lot wiser now, and not so easily blinded by the hype, that sells product!!!!!

We were sucked in bitd though were'nt we

But our rides were the precursors to most of the modern tripe that is packaged as a lifestyle product

Yes we are freaks and no I dont care,I could buy one of the modern type generic rides if i chose but my endorphin means a lot more to me than any new thingy could 8) 8)

and rides better than some as well

I was called a nerd at work for being into all this ! So i'm a nerdy freak now , i'll put it down on my c.v.

With all of you proclaiming your freakishness en mass, I'd like to establish myself as the contrarian to the group and say that I am not a freak. Which of course, makes me a freak.

Or something like that.
