Not sure about Waxoyl for bikes, I have used it on cars in the past, it's pretty heavy.

Best protection is just to keep the bikes indoors, at all times.

Dinitrol/Supertrol for me. Waxoyl is too heavy I think as well.

I did the Breezer really thoroughly with it, and now I've got it back again it's great not having to worry! Where it's obvious, i.e. BB shell and seat tube, there's a proper 'skin' of protection there now. I used to find Waxoyl too thick and sticky even when warmed up first.

Of course keeping them indoors only works if you can control the temperature and humidity so condensation doesn't form on the inside of the frame.

All this talk of protection makes me think maybe I should treat my Daccordi to some Dinitrol - I guess there's no downside?
