Frame ID please

I’ve got this Frame which is badged as Schwinn homegrown. Decals are aged with the frame so not new ones which have been stuck on to sell. A eBay member has said it’s not a Homegrown and I don’t like to sell things which I’m unsure of.

So what is it?

Its lost on me, but it has a orange E3 mech hanger, but no top pull cable stop for front mech.
Do you know the sestpost size, and if headset is inch or inch 'n' 8 ?

have you asked the ebay member why he thinks its not?

I'm not big on the schwinn stuff but I always think of them having snaked monostay seat stays

Seatpost was 26.6 and headset is 1 1/8

The guy says it’s not as the seat stays are wrong and I’d probably agree from looking online.

It did remind me of a orange frame for some reason actually but who’d make a Orange look like a Schwinn.

Bumping this up.

I’ve now taken the stickers off

So far I’ve noticed a “54” on the rear dropout

Serial on BB starts K2

Frame is fairly light and feels nice quality

I want to say Specialized or Orange but no idea why.

Not much help but the dropouts (aside from the eyelets), the way they're attached to the rear triangle and the hanger look very similar to this M-trax, which I think was an A-Pro built frame?

To be fair mate that’s the nearest frame I’ve seen which shares little details

Who else did A pro make frames for?

Also mine has no bottle mounts which is surely rare

Found this elsewhere on here that mentions a few, I'm sure there were more though. Possibly bought in by a shop to sell as their own brand? Quite a few did it in the late 90s.
