What frame design details do you like? What have you saw and thought was tidy/fancy/cool/neat etc? Pics if possible :D

Chain pip.

A small, seemingly insignificant thing but you got to love them for when you need to take the wheel out!

Yes, I don't know why hardly anyone fits them anymore.

Probably because most people that I see removing wheels out on the trail turn their bikes upside down to do it  (I never do, BTW) My father told me not to do that when I was about six or seven years old and I've never forgotten it.

I like the 'hips' on my Saracen Kili seatstays.

That's what it's called. Yeah, I use mine all the time on the Parkpre's, but they didn't fit it to the lower end Parkpre frame :?

I like to see small details on a frame that showed somebody cared, either in design or in construction. So for example, ubber neat welds, or a chain pip, well thought cable routing, something that gives the frame a soul. Very difficult to describe.

You can't really know a frame until it's stripped to bare metal.

So I like the brazing on my Claud Butler mountain bike. Beautifully even and neat.

The head tube mounted cable routing on early top end marins. Always seemed an excellent way of preventing cable rub.

On Boulders, I like the suspension link between the shock and swing-arm. It’s just a master link from a motorbike chain, so it is cheap and readily available. I also like replaceable rear derailleur hangers.

intergrated seat stay / drop out pannier mounts, so much nicer than those barrells tacked on.

if you want pannier mounts that is
