I'll be overhauling a bike I bought for my son, it's a nice Mondraker foxy carbon r that's seen some action.

First job is a drive train refresh, new chain, cassette, xt rear mech and possibly front chain ring, but that's in hand.

Hub and freehub bearings need doing too.

While I have all these parts off, I will give it a nut and bolt rebuild and a thorough clean, polish, touch up and regrease. Frame bearings were recently done, as were the rear shock and forks, which finally brings me to my question.

The fox float 34 ctd seem to be decent, though a couple of small scratches on the stanchions but they are minor and don't affect it's function. Decals aren't great but will be replaced. These are non boost so suit the wheels on the bike.

I have some Pikes, 35mm charger versions, not sure which year. Boost.

I also have some Marzocchi 350s. I don't know a lot about these, came with a frame and parts I bought and planned to build for myself. Non boost.

Which is the better fork? Probably asking with one thought on making sure I get the best one on my build, but still keen to know the merits of each so I can decide which to put on what bike.

My build is a transition patrol and the Mars came with that and match the colour scheme, but they also match the foxy as both are black and green.
