If you don't actually use it, take it off and put a bit of black tape over the hole.

Did you manage to find the necessary window? I have a similar problem now and I do not know what to do. In the beginning, I thought it would be really simple, but I was very wrong about it. I didn't have this problem even when I was looking for a custom-sized window for my garage. I just turned to ecochoicewindows.ca and they were able to pick out a great window for me. If I can't find anything, I'll probably use the black ribbon tip. It looks really working! I already got frustrated looking for this window, so I think this will be a great solution to this problem.
