ok so here i have my now very underused cyclo cross bike, i got it quite a while ago and it was originally painted blue, very boring, so i then did a play on the Orange Clockwork and had it repainted by Argos as "Lime Crosswork" which i love but at the end of the day i don't ride it much these days and i have a big purchase in mind so i've decided to sell the frame/fork/headset/post/stem/brakes canti's

so the sizes are:-

officially a 52cm but it measures c-t 53.5 as the seat tube is higher than the top tube
toptube is c-c 53cm
130mm rear drop out
68mm bb shell
1 inch headtube, 105mm
stem is i think 100mm but i'm sure it measured as 105 (it's a repainted ITM millenium)

headset is a campag record, it's functional but a little rough
seatpost is a giant carbon,
brakes are genuine "frogleggs" with better quality TRP pads which are toe in adjustable.

condition is pretty good, a few scratches but not many, people moan about Argos paint being fragile, defo not the case here.

all this for £200 posted.

Re:

When Kiran kicks me out can I live in your van please?!

Dibs whilst I do some measuring if I may please, this is a FAT pile of trouble you're getting me into...!

Re:

Am I right in thinking it's a Fort Victor frame, with the flattened top tube and no bosses for anything at all (no bottle cages, nothing)?

Do you have plans for the other bits, shifter levers and wheels in particular? Might we do a deal either on the whole lot, or on the bare frame&forks (finishing kit is something I've got plenty of!)?

I'll stop wittering now and catch up with you later when I've calmed down and tested the water at home...

Re:

in all honesty Pete i don't know which model it is, i know it's 7005 aluminium with a steel fork, should have put that in the advert really! it has a standard round toptube though. no bottle bosses either.

it's fun to ride but i have a big project in mind hence the sale, one of the reasons i didn't list the wheels is that the bearings need doing, they arev smooth but have a little play, they are original goldtec (campag 8 speed) hubs from back in the day which are easy to sort out but i just haven't got round to it yet, the rims are brand new as are the spokes and the tyres are also new.

didn't really want to sell the shifters though, sorry

Re: FS Fort cross frameset repainted as "Lime Crosswork"

I could make use of the cantis if that helps.
