Forks for a 94 Zaskar LE

Hi,

My wife and I both used to race back in the mid nineties, both on Zaskar LEs.

Mine had the Pace RC 35 forks and hers had Rock Shox Mag 21 SLs (the ones with the titanium bits and clear gold lacquered lower legs).

My Zaskar was sold years ago but she still has hers which currently has Marzocki forks on that have nkavkered bushes etc so need to be replaced - you can no longer get the bushes for these it seems.

So, what should I replace them with?

Most decent modern forks are only compatible with disk brakes and would probably upset the geometry, so I am looking at second hand but still serviceable.

Pace? Fox?

Wow lovely Zaskar you have there! Id keep to the piriod forks. New forks are set up for a completely different geometry. Have a look for some nice Mags or Judy SL's on here or ebay. If your patient you'll find a nearly new pair of them. Do you have any pics of the bike as it stands currently?
