LGF, I see that, but when you say 'anything' the current mock up has an Avid SD5 V on the front & an LX canti on the rear, with Speed dial levers to (hopefully) tweak the cable pull reasonably close to where it should be...

On the plus side I have got matching cartridge pads and it does keep the cable clear of the nice metal head badge!

What do you think?

My opinions smell at the best of times but if you have the room for a headset mounted cable stop, these will mean that you have a front brake that works.

Git away with your poipul! I like gadgety though, but I don't thing there's enough tyre clearance so it would likely be overly effective, just the once... :cry:

You're are a total gent, but 'just in case' seems overly cheeky!

As I've not been threatened with burning at the stake I'll pop the V on the front for now & just get it rolling, see how it works out - I'm not really up for BoTR anyway :roll:
