Don't know what DA 7402 DT 7 shifters are, but they are band on's right ? You want 7speed brase on's ? I've got a set of Shimano 105's in excellent condition if they are what you're after :-)

If you want just a swap that's OK by me:-) No idea what the above are but so long as they are not sachs huret stuff, that'll be fine. How about we swap pics ?

I'll take them because a guy on another thread is stuck and needs band on's :-) Sorry if I'm totally misreading this post. Later buddy, Laz.

EDIT: Ok Dura Ace Road shifters 7 speed :-)

Will swapping the levers work ? ie, send all the kit for band ons to the other guy minus just the levers (name to be supplied), I'll send you all my kit for 105's brase ons :-) I'm assuming the switch will work.

Hi, how much for the 105s? The dura ace fetch more dosh than 105 so I can sell them on, I'll put up some pics later can you mail pics of your shifters? Ta :-)

Hi Bike :-) No problem buddy, was trying to source your band ons for another guy, don't need them myself :-) His post is here, try him.

How does £12 to your door for the 105's sound ? They are in very good condition, just the tiniest of faint marks on the right hand lever. You'd never see it unless you got up close. I almost didn't notice it. Otherwise as good as NOS. These are also the friction / indexed type that switch between modes.

Later buddy, yours Laz.

Hello mate, send a pic?

Hi Bike, here you are buddy. You can just make out the tiny scrape on the top 1 of the 2 levers. All the best, yours Laz.

Yeah they'll be fine, just to be sure right shifter index and friction selectable all working fine and bolt threads good? paypal ok ?

Hello Bikenut,

Are they definitely 7 speed as I always thought 7402 was 8sp? Mine are 8 but I guess it would have been easy enough to have made them in 7sp too. I may well be interested if definitely 7s as I've been using mine with a 7 speed block which works ok but not perfectly.

On the other hand, if you want to keep them could you not just remove them from the band and fit them to downtube bosses with the relevant spacers? Or does it not work like that?

Regards
RR

Shifters

OK mea culpa, mine are 7401 so deffo 7s

Can't find any spare mounting bushes to try so hoping to get my money back on these and start again; If I used 8s I'd gave the same problem as you are having due to the difference in pitch between the cogs...
