I'm selling my beloved Long Haul Trucker. It is in MINT condition as the frame has been heli-taped from day one. It is also treated internally with Waxoyl.
The frame will come with a silver Chris King headset fitted. It is the blue colour frameset and is the 26" version. The only issue, if you can even call it that, is that when applying the heli-tape, the words "Long Haul Trucker" on the top tube, came off when adjusting the tape placement. Likewise, the words "Fatties Fit Fine" on the chainstays have been removed; even though the stays are taped, I thought that particular logo looked tacky, so removed them on purpose.
Only reason for (possible) sale: I ride either a 54 or 56cm frame and when I built this bike, I plumped for the larger of the two. As my Surly is my go-to bike of my collection, I am going to build another one using a 54cm frame & I want to be sure I can move this one on without fuss.
The bike was bought from Triton Cycles in October 2013 & has done about 2000 miles, but I repeat, is in mint condition. You might even think the bike is unused!
I am looking for £300 for frameset & headset and would prefer collection from Royston in Hertfordshire or I could post at buyers expense.
