gents 22 3/4"(58cm) sized frame with Reynolds 531 tubing finished in a nice pale blue colour with matching decals . Nice love heart shaped lugwork from the mid 80's short horizontal drop outs with micro adjuster holes on rear .
mixed 10 speed gear system sachs huret levers with suntour vx derailieurs fr & rr .
alloy 700 c rigida rims on mallard hubs .
wiemann side pull brakes operated via dual position matching levers , mounted on sr sakae road champ alloy drops with a 100 mm alloy quill stem , tange headset .
alloy custom crank set with 170 mm arms fitted with sp 100r pedals .
full length alloy gaurds fr & rr with light rr alloy carrier .
this is an ideal lightwieght touring / commuting bike

only 1 previous owner who had this bike built to his spec using an ex marlboro team frame .

Sorry for my earlier flippant remark - but;

Are you sure it's 531? Marlboro bikes were pretty low end and the components it's got - 10 speed and brakes with safety levers - are not the kind of thing you'd expect to find on a posher, 531 framed bike.

original owner had the bike built for him using that frame in 531 instead of a Dawes galaxy due its lightness , then because he was a teacher didnt want fancy bits on it in case any budding greg lemonds fancied it , and as it was only used for going back and forwards to school , his track bikes had all the nice bits on it wieghs aprox 10kg as is .

In that case it's actually a Holdsworth - Marlboro was a sub-brand for them - I guess he went for the ropey brand name to hide its real identity and deter thieves.
