Please can you tell me the Shimano model number of the front mech, and if it is bottom pull (99% sure it is) and what size it is.

Should be on the plates stamped to tell you.

the front mech is as follows:

Shimano Deore Mega 9 - Bottom Pull

The only code I can see says: FD-M510

M-0 31.8 (The 0 has a line through it so I presume the 31.8 is the diameter)
