Good afternoon all

Apologies that this is my 1st post but im looking to find a good home for my beloved GT.

I have had this bike since new, and it has been in various guises, but has lived in my fathers garage for the last 5.

I spent £100 getting it cleaned up, with new grips, sadle, cables and tyres at Worcester cycle centre a little over a year ago.

Good bits:
It is a Maroon/Dark metallic red GT LTS 2, all new (2yrs ago) bushes, Fox Alps 5R Air shock (rear, from a Cannondale) Goldtec rear mech hanger, Z4 Bomber (air) forks, Sun Mamoth DH rims with new Continental 2.0 tyres, Shimano Deore front & rear mech's, Shimano LX (Hollowtech) Front Chain set with splined bottom bracket. Planet X Long reach stem and Riser Bars. Brand new saddle.

Bad bits:

21 speed cassette, needs new chain & shifters (Sach's wavey's, left hand broken clamp)

Most people seem to be interested in certain parts rather than the entire bike, therefore I will break it and all will be available as of Sunday the 10th of July.

I am looking for prices in the region of:

Maguras £20 (well used, need refurb)
Bombers £80 (Perfect working order)
Mechs £10 rear £8 front ish (Both work perfectly)
Wheels £50
Frame £120

Please feel free to make offers via PM on any parts you can see in the pics, I would still take offers in the region of £225 for the entire bike.

Where are you based. Tentatively interested. Is it new bushes and bearings? Were all replaced?

That's a beaut. I'd love to weigh in and buy it, but I probably shouldn't. Where are you out of interest, as if collection is not too far I could change my mind.

I am based in Worcester in the Midlands (2hrs from Hammersmith on a clear run) - not far from the Malvern hills!

In terms of the bushes, they were changed around 3 years ago, however it has only been used once since. These were certainly bushes as opposed to bearings as far as i remember. This consisted of the top bushes in front of the seat post, lower set by the bottom bracket and the final ones were behind the rear shock. This was all at the same time as fitting the shock itself. (came from my uncles Cannondale) and the Goldtec hanger.

Bargain but a bit of a drive from Devon.

If you split would happily take forks and maguras. That would get back most of the price you want!

There doesnt seem to be a clear marking with regards to the size, however loose measurements:

Centre of bottom bracket to base of seat tube, 17"
Centre of head tube to the seat tube/post, 19"

I think it has always looked very compact, but i am 6'3" and have ridden this with a long head tube for a long time, potentially better suited for someone around 6' maybe...

Yes I am potentially interested in the maguras. You said they need a refurb, bit more detail? Do they work now with no leaks?
