For Sale: 1989 Specialized Rockhopper Comp

Hello all!

For sale is my lovely Specialized Rockhopper Comp.

I bought it last summer with the intention of doing a bit of Retro MTB racing with it. Unfortunately I ended up spending all of time racing this:

And all of my money transforming it into this:

In the end the only time i've ridden has been when moving house, a grand total of around 20 miles. Alas it must go.

Anyway, enough chitchat. The components are all original with the exception of the saddle (and the usual consumables such as chain & brake pads) which has been replaced by a Selle Italia something or other which I must admit, does have a few grazes on it. Aside from that and the usual stone chipping it's looking quite lovely. Also it did get a service as soon as I got it so everything is functioning perfectly.

I'm looking for £160, preferably pickup in Central or SE London. Am happy to let the buyer arrange a courier though.

That's a bargain for somebody lucky... if I had space for another project I'd be interested in that. A lovely year for Specializeds and the pictures of that bike take me right back...
